The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior M&A Analyst to join our dynamic Corporate Finance team, focusing on managing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions for our clients. This role will see you working closely with Partners to drive M&A deals, ensuring their successful execution from evaluation to completion.
In this position, you'll have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, shaping tailored financial strategies that meet their unique needs and expectations. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about financial analysis, M&A processes, and client engagement. You will also work on a variety of engagements, including business sales, M&A, and capital raising.
The Role
- Client Engagement and Delivery: collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure, negotiate, and execute deals, while ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction throughout the process.
- Financial Analysis and Valuations: lead the financial analysis and valuations for M&A transactions, presenting to potential clients on transaction opportunities and strategies.
- Project Management: oversee compliance and data compilation for all deals, providing regular project updates and ensuring timely execution.
- Strategic Contributions: monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making, while identifying opportunities for future deals.
- Building Relationships: develop and nurture relationships with clients, colleagues, and leadership teams, establishing trust as a key advisor.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of M&A or corporate finance experience, with strong financial modeling and valuation expertise.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and a solid understanding of M&A processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment.
- A current national police clearance (within six months) is required.
- Australian working rights and willingness to travel are essential.
